MiCORE Awarded $971K Contract to Upgrade Oracle Database and Introduce Oracle Cloud for Global Transportation Company
RESTON, VIRGINIA – MiCORE Solutions Inc. (MiCORE) was awarded a $971,000 contract to maximize database performance and leverage Oracle Cloud Credits for a market-leading global transportation company. The project will support a new data center to be built in Japan, and is expected to boost client operations worldwide.
Prior to the contract, MiCORE provided consultation on solutions to uphold performance and productivity standards within the client’s evolving IT environment. Under the agreement, the client has purchased 22 new licenses of Oracle Database and RAC, which will optimize the computing power of their database system. The newly purchased licenses will be implemented in data centers located in both Japan and the US. As part of the agreement, MiCORE will partner with the client to introduce best practices for implementing Oracle Cloud.
